This Privacy Policy explains what information Shoppy collects, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our secondhand shopping assistant.
Information we handle
Shoppy receives the messages, photos, links, preferences, and instructions you send; basic messaging-account details; information from marketplaces you choose to connect; and operational data needed to keep the service reliable and secure.
How it is used and shared
We use information to run and personalize Shoppy, fulfill requests, send alerts, maintain connections, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems. We share it only as needed with messaging, marketplace, hosting, automation, and AI providers, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Connections and security
Marketplace sign-in happens in a private hosted browser. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or payment-card details in chat. Connection data is used to carry out your instructions. You can revoke marketplace access at any time.
Retention and your choices
We keep information only as long as needed to provide and secure Shoppy, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Email hello@useshoppy.com to request access, correction, or deletion. Limited records may remain where required for security, legal compliance, or backup integrity.
Age, updates, and contact
Shoppy is for adults age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. We may update this policy and will revise the effective date when we do. Email hello@useshoppy.com with questions or requests.
